Doug, along with his wife and business partner, Sherry, moved to Chattanooga in 1986 after having relocated 13 times prior. Once they settled in Chattanooga, the couple decided to make it their home because and the beauty, people, and central location to everything in the Southeastern United States. Doug was involved in Real Estate transactions throughout his entire professional career, but in 2003 both he and his wife Sherry made the decision to make Real Estate their full- time profession.
As Realtors, Doug and Sherry have enjoyed tremendous success experiencing award winning growth with Chattanooga’s J Douglas Properties, now a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Franchise. Even in the years of the recession beginning in late 2007 through 2012, Doug and Sherry found excellent success, realizing double digit increases year after year.
